- Sea facing
- Free Wi-Fi
- Solar hot water

A calm, clean guest house of Shree Somnath Trust on Somnath Mandir Road, where every room looks out to the Arabian Sea.
Sagar Darshan means a view of the sea, and the name is meant literally. Every room in the guest house faces the water.
The day begins with first light over the Arabian Sea and ends with the shore going quiet after the evening aarti.
The second reason is distance. The Somnath Jyotirlinga temple is about 400 m away, a five minute walk along Somnath Mandir Road. You can attend the 7:00 AM aarti without a taxi, come back to the room to rest through the afternoon, and walk over again for the 7:00 PM aarti and the light and sound show at 7:45 PM.
The guest house is managed by Shree Somnath Trust, the trust that administers the Somnath temple. Rooms are simple and kept clean, the restaurant is pure vegetarian, and the reception is open around the clock. Guests rate it 4.2 on Google, from more than 2,300 reviews.

Tariffs are per room per night, as published by Shree Somnath Trust. A refundable deposit is taken for each room and GST is added at billing. Rates are indicative; please confirm when you book.

₹5,000per night, GST extra · deposit ₹6,000
Four beds in one sea facing room, so a family can stay together. A cradle or an extra bed can be arranged on request.
Short and practical: a lift for elders, hot water, power backup, parking and a reception that never closes, plus five halls for functions and meetings.
Staying this close, you can walk over for each of the three aartis and rest in the room in between. Timings are as published by the Trust and can change on festival days.

The guest house restaurant serves only vegetarian food. It stays open until 11:00 PM, which matters at Somnath: after the evening aarti and the light and sound show you can come back and sit down to a hot meal without looking for somewhere still open.
About the restaurantThe sea, the shore and the temple close by. The photographs of rooms and interiors are licensed stock images used for illustration, not pictures of the guest house itself.
