Pure vegetarian restaurant at Sagar Darshan, Somnath
The guest house restaurant serves only vegetarian food and stays open until 11:00 PM, so a hot meal is never far away after the evening aarti.
Food in keeping with a pilgrimage
Sagar Darshan is a pure vegetarian property, run by Shree Somnath Trust. Everything served in the restaurant is vegetarian, which is one less thing to think about for families who keep a vegetarian kitchen at home and want the same on a temple trip.
Having the restaurant under the same roof also makes the day simpler. Elders do not need to walk into town for a meal, children can eat when they are hungry rather than when you find somewhere, and you are back in your sea facing room a few minutes after you finish.
Open until 11:00 PM
The restaurant closes at 11:00 PM. That late closing matters at Somnath, where the evening aarti is at 7:00 PM and the Jay Somnath light and sound show begins at 7:45 PM. You can attend both and still come back for dinner.

We do not publish a menu on this site, because it is set by the kitchen and can change. If you have a question about a particular dish, timings for a meal, or food for a child or an elder, ask the reception when you book or when you arrive.
